Measurements

Equipment is custom made to your unique measurements. Please take your time while measuring and double check your values. If you are uncertain of any measurements or instructions, contact us for clarification.

Units of Measurement

Please follow the photo requirements carefully.

Take a photo of each measurement and show the entire measuring tape. We will ask for measurement photos via email after you have submitted your order. This helps us confirm you measured correctly.

Height

In bare feet, measure from the floor to the top of your head. Photo not required.

Height measurement

Wingspan

With your arms stretched out, at shoulder height, measure from wrist bone to wrist bone across your chest. Keep the measuring tape as close to your arms as possible. The start and end positions of your measurement should not go past or cover your wrist bone/joint.

Photo Requirements: Wear a shirt that allows us to see your wrist bones. Show the entire wingspan and make sure the measuring tape numbers are visible.

Wingspan measurement and wristbone location

Shoulder to Shoulder

Measure from shoulder to shoulder across the front of your body with your arms at your side. The shoulder measuring point is a bony protrusion where your arm meets the body.

Photo Requirements: Wearing a fitted shirt, or ideally something that shows your shoulders. Lay the measuring tape across the front of your chest, as close to your shoulders and chest as possible.

Shoulder to Shoulder Measurement

Shoulder to Elbow

With your arm bent at the elbow 90 degrees, measure from the bony protrusion at the shoulder, where your arm meets the body, to the outside of your bent elbow.

Photo Requirements: Show the entire length of the measuring tape, from start to end. Wear a fitted shirt or something that allows us to clearly see the definition in your arm.

Shoulder to Elbow Measurement

Elbow to Wrist Bone - Front

With your arm bent at the elbow, place your forearm on a flat surface with your palm facing up. Measure from the inside of the elbow crook to your wrist bone. You want the start of the measuring tape snug against the crease/fold at your elbow. The measurement should not go past or cover your wrist bone/joint.

Photo Requirement: Please wear a shirt that allows us to see your forearm clearly.

Elbow to Wrist Bone Measurement

Elbow to Wrist Bone - Back

With your arm bent at the elbow, place your forearm on a flat surface with your palm facing down. Use a piece of paper to mark the end of your elbow joint. Measure from the edge of the paper to your wrist bone. The measurement should not go past or cover your wrist bone/joint.

Photo Requirement: Please wear a shirt that allows us to see your forearm and the paper clearly.

Elbow to Wrist Bone Measurement

Elbow to Wrist Bone Adjustment

The forearm protection should sit at the wrist bone, or slightly behind it; forearm protection should not interfere with the joint. Some goalies prefer slightly shorter forearm protection. With the previous measurement (Elbow to Wrist Bone) in mind, is that a suitable length?

Forearm Length

Waist

Place the start of the measuring tape at your navel (belly button), and wrap it around your waist. A photo is not required.

Waist Measurement

Weight

Mid-Section

Place the start of the measuring tape between your collar bones where the hard bone transitions to the soft tissue of your throat. Measure to your navel (belly button).

Photo Requirements: Show the entire length of the measuring tape, from start to end. Please point to your belly button if you are wearing a shirt.

Throat to navel Measurement

Neck Circumference

Place the start of the measuring tape at your adams apple, and wrap it around your neck. Photo not required.

Neck Circumference Measurement

Existing Chest Protector

If you have a chest protector (any brand), please complete the following questions. These questions help us better understand how your current chest protector fits relative to your body measurements. Best to answer these questions here and now.

Chest Length

Measure your chest protector from the base of the neck, below the collar, to the bottom of belly padding. If you have a built-in collar, do not include the collar in the measurement. Start the measurement where the collar attaches to the body. It's easiest to take this measurement with your chest and arm protector lying on the ground.

Do not include the built-in neck protector or mini neck collar in your measurement.

Photo Requirements: Show the entire length of the measuring tape, from start to end.

Chest Pad Length

Chest Length Adjustment

Ideally your chest protector should overlap your crotch protection (jock or jill) slightly. With the previous measurement (Chest Length) in mind, is that a suitable length?
